The upcycle lamp SPOOL was once part of a welding machine. The filler wire was originally wrapped around the spool. When the filler wire runs out, the bobbin is usually thrown away. Tolhuijs gives the coil a second life and turns this waste product into a sustainable design lamp.
The Tolhuijs SPOOL Floor Lamp Deluxe is truly sustainable and social Dutch design. Both obtaining the raw material and the production take place on our own soil. The SPOOL lamp is supplied with welding wire (Deluxe version).
